The Eberhard Chronographe 1887 (Ref. 31082.06 CP) debuted in 2024 as part of the Chronographe 1887 Automatique collection, reflecting Eberhard & Co.’s legacy of precision chronographs inspired by the Maison’s 1930s and 1940s pilot’s instruments. The model combines classical symmetry with refined modern execution, showcasing Eberhard’s commitment to both design continuity and mechanical innovation.
The stainless-steel case measures 41.5 mm in diameter and features a domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating. Its vintage-style crown integrates a coaxial chronograph push button, while the case back-secured by four screws-includes a sapphire display center framed by an engraved steel perimeter. The watch is water-resistant to 50 meters and paired with a hand-stitched alligator leather strap with a personalized steel buckle; a Déclic® deployant clasp is optionally available.
The blue dial features a clous de Paris guilloché texture accented by azuré-finished subdials with diamond-polished edges. Applied rhodium-plated Roman numerals and rhomboidal hour markers lend elegance and depth, while the telemeter and minute scales, graduated to one-fifth of a second, highlight the model’s vintage-inspired precision layout.
Powering the watch is the automatic Eberhard Caliber EB 380, a self-winding monopusher chronograph movement equipped with a column wheel and flyback function. Visible through the sapphire case back, the movement displays refined finishing and a decorated oscillating weight engraved with the Eberhard & Co. signature.
