The Eberhard Chronographe 1887 (Ref. 31081.02 CP) debuted in 2024 as a 250-piece limited edition commemorating the founding year of Eberhard & Co. Inspired by the brand’s 1930s chronographs, this model merges vintage aesthetics with contemporary watchmaking precision.
The stainless-steel case features a domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, a vintage-style crown with coaxial chronograph pusher, and a case back secured by four screws with sapphire display center and engraved steel perimeter. The watch is paired with a hand-stitched black alligator leather strap and a personalized steel buckle, with the Déclic® deployant clasp offered as an optional upgrade.
The semi-matte black dial highlights white polished raised hour markers, a spiral blue tachymeter scale, and finely graduated telemeter and minute tracks. Diamond-finished rings separate the scales, creating a sense of layered depth and classic balance that recalls early Eberhard chronographs.
Powering the watch is the hand-wound Eberhard Caliber EB 280, developed and customized in-house. The movement features a column wheel, monopusher chronograph mechanism, and flyback function, with its upper bridge shaped like the Maison’s Shield emblem and visible through the sapphire case back.
A refined tribute to Eberhard’s 1887 heritage of craftsmanship and innovation.
