The Eberhard Chronographe 1887 (Ref. 31082.03 CP) debuted in 2024 as part of the Chronographe 1887 Automatique series, continuing Eberhard & Co.’s legacy of elegant and technically refined chronographs inspired by its 1930s and 1940s models. The design merges vintage pilot chronograph aesthetics with modern mechanical sophistication, showcasing the Maison’s balance between heritage and innovation.
The stainless-steel case measures 41.5 mm in diameter and is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal featuring internal anti-reflective coating. A vintage-style crown integrates a coaxial chronograph push button, while the case back-secured by four screws-reveals the movement through a sapphire display center framed by an engraved steel perimeter. Water resistance is rated to 50 meters. The watch is presented on a hand-stitched alligator leather strap with a personalized steel buckle, while the Déclic® deployant clasp is optionally available.
The polished black dial contrasts with matte black subdials and raised white Arabic numerals, combining refined legibility with classic elegance. White telemeter and minute scales are graduated to one-fifth of a second, complemented by a spiral silver-tone tachymeter scale at the center.
Powering the watch is the automatic Eberhard Caliber EB 380, a self-winding monopusher chronograph with a column wheel and flyback function. Visible through the sapphire case back, the movement features fine finishing and an engraved oscillating weight bearing the Eberhard & Co. signature.
