The Eberhard Chronographe 1887 (Ref. 31082.01 CP) debuted in 2024 as a contemporary interpretation of Eberhard & Co.’s early pilot’s chronographs from the 1930s and 1940s. The model pays tribute to the Maison’s historical precision instruments, uniting classic symmetry and technical detailing with modern automatic chronograph engineering.
The stainless-steel case measures 41.5 mm in diameter and features a domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, a vintage-style crown with coaxial chronograph pusher, and a case back secured by four screws with sapphire display center and engraved steel perimeter. Water resistance is rated to 50 meters. The watch is paired with a hand-stitched alligator leather strap and a personalized steel pin buckle, while the Déclic® deployant clasp is available as an option.
The polished white dial contrasts elegantly with matte white subdials and black raised Arabic numerals, with the “12” printed in blue-a nod to historical Eberhard chronographs. Black telemeter and minute scales are graduated to one-fifth of a second, complemented by a spiral blue tachymeter scale at the center.
Powering the watch is the automatic Eberhard Caliber EB 380, a self-winding monopusher chronograph with column wheel and flyback function. The movement is visible through the sapphire case back, showcasing refined finishing and the engraved oscillating weight bearing the Eberhard & Co. signature.
