The Eberhard Chronographe 1887 (Ref. 31081.03 CP) debuted in 2024 as a 250-piece limited edition honoring the founding year of Eberhard & Co. This model reimagines the brand’s 1930s chronographs, blending vintage aesthetics, refined proportions, and modern horological precision.
The stainless-steel case features a domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, a vintage-style crown with coaxial chronograph pusher, and a case back secured by four screws with sapphire display center and engraved steel perimeter. The watch is paired with a hand-stitched brown alligator leather strap and a personalized steel buckle, with the Déclic® deployant clasp offered as an option.
The dial combines a bronze-toned center—created through a precise metal deposition technique—with a silvered outer ring and subdials. Black polished applied hour markers and Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 contrast beautifully with the warm background. A spiral blue tachymeter scale, telemeter and minute tracks graduated to one-fifth of a second, and diamond-finished rings separating the scales complete the composition.
Powering the watch is the hand-wound Caliber EB 280, developed and customized by Eberhard & Co. The movement features a column wheel, monopusher chronograph, and flyback function, with the upper chronograph bridge shaped like the Maison’s Shield emblem and visible through the sapphire case back.
