The Eberhard Chronographe 1887 (Ref. 31081.01 CP) debuted in 2024 as a 250-piece limited edition celebrating the founding year of Eberhard & Co. The model reinterprets the brand’s 1930s chronographs, combining traditional aesthetics with modern craftsmanship and technical refinement.
The stainless-steel case features a domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, a vintage-style crown with a coaxial chronograph pusher, and a case back secured by four screws with a sapphire center and engraved steel perimeter. The watch is paired with a hand-stitched alligator leather strap and steel pin buckle, with an optional Déclic® deployant clasp.
The white coquille d’œuf semi-matte dial displays black polished raised hour markers, a spiral blue tachymeter scale, and telemeter and minute tracks with diamond-finished rings for enhanced depth.
At its heart beats the hand-wound Caliber EB 280, developed and customized by Eberhard & Co. The movement features a column wheel, flyback function, and monopusher start/stop/reset operation. Its upper chronograph bridge is shaped like the brand’s Shield emblem and visible through the sapphire case back.
The Chronographe 1887 31081.01 CP stands as a tribute to Eberhard’s heritage of precision, innovation, and timeless chronograph design.
