About this caliber

The 1142 is based on the Lemania 2310, yet it is produced in-house by Vacheron Constantin; the intellectual rights for the movement were first acquired by Roger Dubuis, and this brand was subsequently acquired by Vacheron Constantin's parent company Richemont. It consists of 164 components, including 21 jewels. The movement was first introduced in the ladies Harmony Chronograph Small Model. Caliber 1142 is the successor to caliber 1141, which was also based on the 2310, yet not fully produced in-house.
