About this caliber
The hand-wound caliber DUW 1001 is a high-end movement created by Nomos according to the traditional Glashütte codes of watchmaking. It features 29 jewels, a double mainspring barrel providing it with 84 hours of power reserve, a power reserve at 12:00 and a small seconds indicator at 6:00. The multiple polished, screwed gold chatons, the hand-engraved balance cock and beveled edges, swan neck fine adjustment, and traditional 3/4 plate are a testament to the movement's overall high quality and precision.
