The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon (Ref. 310.92.44.51.01.004) debuted in 2025 as a bold evolution of Omega’s most iconic chronograph. Its 44.25 mm case, crafted from polished and brushed black ceramic, measures 15.09 mm thick with a 50 mm lug-to-lug span and a 21 mm lug width. The polished ceramic bezel features a tachymeter scale executed in Liquidmetal™, while sapphire crystals with anti-reflective treatment on both sides ensure clear visibility. The watch is water-resistant to 50 meters.
The black ceramic dial showcases a tricompax layout with small seconds at 9 o’clock, a combined 60-minute and 12-hour counter at 3 o’clock, and a date display at 6 o’clock. The applied indexes and hands are made of 18K white gold filled with light green Super-LumiNova emitting a vivid green glow, while the chronograph seconds hand is PVD white gold with a red tip for contrast and legibility.
At its core is the self-winding Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, a chronograph movement with a column wheel, silicon balance spring, and twin barrels mounted in series to deliver a 60-hour power reserve. Certified by METAS and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, it exemplifies Omega’s precision and durability.
The watch is completed with a black rubber strap featuring a lunar surface motif on the underside, secured by a ceramic foldover clasp with a ceramised titanium frame-spring system—merging high performance with refined design.
