Introduced in 2025, the Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon (Ref. 310.92.44.51.01.002) embodies the brand’s fusion of space heritage and ceramic innovation. The 44.25 mm case, crafted in polished and brushed black ceramic, measures 15.09 mm thick with a 50 mm lug-to-lug span and 21 mm lug width. A polished black ceramic bezel with a Liquidmetal™ tachymeter scale enhances the watch’s sleek aesthetic, while sapphire crystals with anti-reflective treatment protect both front and back. Water resistance is rated to 50 meters.
The polished black ceramic dial presents a tri-compax layout with small seconds at 9 o’clock, a combined 60-minute and 12-hour counter at 3 o’clock, and a date aperture at 6 o’clock. The applied indexes and hands are made of 18K white gold filled with light green Super-LumiNova, offering a luminous green glow in low light. The central chronograph seconds hand, PVD-coated in white gold with a red tip, adds a dynamic accent to the monochrome palette.
Inside beats the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, a column-wheel chronograph movement certified by METAS and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. Equipped with a silicon balance spring, twin barrels mounted in series, and a time-zone function, it provides a robust 60-hour power reserve and exceptional chronometric performance.
Completing the look is a black coated nylon fabric strap with a black rubber lining, secured by a ceramic foldover clasp featuring a ceramised titanium frame-spring system. The result is a modern evolution of the Moonwatch spirit—refined, technical, and unmistakably Omega.
