Introduced in 2025, the Breitling Top Time B31 (Ref. AB31131A1C1X1) marks a major milestone for the brand, launching the all-new Caliber B31 - Breitling’s first in-house automatic three-hand movement developed over four years. Released exclusively for the Chinese market in a limited edition of just 50 pieces, the model was unveiled to coincide with the Double Eleven (11.11) shopping festival.
The 38 mm stainless steel case combines vintage-inspired proportions with contemporary detailing. It is water-resistant to 100 meters and fitted with a cambered sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides. A non-screw-down crown with dual gaskets ensures daily wear practicality, while the sapphire caseback engraved “ONE OF 50” and “LIMITED EDITION” reveals the newly developed movement.
The sunray-finished blue dial introduces vivid yellow accents, inspired by Breitling’s corporate palette. A yellow central seconds hand and matching minute track details contrast beautifully against the deep blue background, complemented by applied indexes and luminous hands. A date aperture with magnifier at 3 o’clock adds functional charm.
At its heart lies the automatic Caliber B31, a COSC-certified chronometer beating at 28,800 vph with a 78-hour power reserve, bidirectional winding, and refined finishing visible through the caseback.
The watch is paired with a blue perforated calfskin strap featuring white stitching and a stainless steel pin buckle - a perfect blend of heritage design and modern precision.
