The Breitling Premier B09 Chronograph 40 (Ref. RB0930361L1P1) was launched in 2021 as part of a capsule collection paying tribute to Breitling’s vintage chronographs from the 1940s. Merging historical design with modern engineering, this model embodies the refined side of the brand’s tool-watch heritage.
The 40 mm case is made from 18K red gold, measuring 13.08 mm in thickness, and features rectangular chronograph pushers, a fixed bezel, and a cambered sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides for exceptional legibility. The sapphire crystal caseback, secured by screws, provides a clear view of the in-house movement. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters (10 bar).
The green dial combines elegance and balance with applied Arabic numerals and two recessed subdials arranged symmetrically. The gold-tone syringe-style hands enhance its vintage-inspired aesthetic, while the small seconds counter at 9 o’clock ensures functionality without clutter.
Powering the watch is the Breitling Caliber B09, a hand-wound COSC-certified chronometer based on the in-house B01 architecture. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), it offers a 70-hour power reserve and delivers precision with classic chronograph feel.
The Premier B09 Chronograph 40 RB0930361L1P1 is paired with a brown alligator leather strap and an 18K red gold folding clasp, combining timeless design, mechanical craftsmanship, and sophisticated appeal.
