About this caliber

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 362 is an ultra-thin automatic movement combining a minute repeater and a flying tourbillon. Developed and manufactured in-house, it measures just 4.7 mm in thickness and is equipped with a peripheral rotor mounted on ceramic ball bearings for unobstructed views of the movement. The minute repeater mechanism features crystal gongs affixed directly to the sapphire crystal, using the case itself as a resonator, and trebuchet hammers for enhanced acoustic performance. The tourbillon is fitted with a patented S-shaped hairspring and a flying balance wheel, contributing to both technical refinement and aesthetic elegance. Additional innovations include a silent timelapse reduction system and a discreet activation button at 8 o’clock. Calibre 362 operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours, and is composed of 566 components including 72 jewels. It measures 33.3 mm in diameter.
